Description of the activity

- This activity provided the most effective results, and good practices which the host school observed and learned by guest students and teachers and applied by every school afterwards.
The benefits to the involved participants in the meeting in Greece increased self-esteem, ability to integrate in the group, gained new knowledge that helped them in self realization, build the European potential, learning in practice and to develop organizational and social competencies, enriching the experience.
They gained better knowledge about the topic and better insight in practical application of the subject, therefore becoming independent learners.
They had the opportunity to take initiative and show more motivation in scientific subjects by:
• improving communication skills (including those with special educational needs (SEN)) in their mother tongue and English by developing their basic skills,
• developing cultural and environmental awareness by finding out about their culture/environment heritage and lifestyles,
• improving their digital competence through a varied use of ICT during the project's activities and they will be able to communicate in a number of different ways,
• developing their creativity through studies, experiments, observation, the arts and science while producing different texts, illustrations, exhibitions, scientific descriptions and photography.
- The participants in the activity were teachers and students from Italy-Greece-Germany-France and Poland.
- During this exchange the participants worked together in workshops and different activities concerning the subtopic entitled “Cooperative learning”.
- In the LTT event achieved global awareness by learning from and working collaboratively and creatively with others in different aspects, exchanging experiences, cultures, lifestyle and good practices.
